Harold S. Oulton Harold S. Oulton, 90, of the Veteran's Health Centre, Moncton and formerly of Dieppe/Chartersville passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 20, 2004. Born in Moncton, son of the late Heber and Ethel (Fromm) Oulton. Harold was a retired pastry chef at Mount Allison University with over 30 years service. He loved his garden, especially flowers of which he planted and grew thousands of gladiolas and daliahs which he sold and put on display at various floral displays in the greater Moncton area. He was a member of Highfield Street United Baptist Church and served his church in various capacities in past years. He was a member of the Westmorland Horticultural Society and a Veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with the R.C.A.F. Harold will be sadly missed by his son, Kevin, Edmonton, AB; brothers, George, Weston, ON, Ross (Lilly), Mississauga, ON; sisters, Jennie Crossman (Perley), Dieppe/Chartersville; sister, Ruth Tingley, Nanaimo, BC; sister in law, Neva Oulton, Ottawa, ON; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Roy, Chester, Robert, Arthur and one sister, Lauretta Charters. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. Moncton Legion # 6 Memorial Service Tuesday 7pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday March 24, 2004, 3:30pm,. Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery. In Harold's memory donations to the NB Alzheimers Society or memorial of choice would be appreciated. [Times & Transcript]
