MAZZUCHIN, Gino A. - In loving memory of Gino A. Mazzuchin, 71 years, who passed away Friday, July 21st, 2006 at the SRH - Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Victoria (Roebuck) Mazzuchin of Val Therese. Loving father of Gus, Stephen and Michael; Step-father to Tim Roebuck (wife Susan). Special grandfather of Lucy. Cherished son of Anna Mazzuchin of Sudbury and Eugenio Mazzuchin predeceased. Loving brother of Nice Galasso (husband Domenico) of Ottawa and Leah Bruna Michaud (husband Gilles) of P.E.I. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Born in Casarsa, Udine, Italy, Gino settled in Sudbury in 1939. He was an electronics and engineering professional who taught at Cambrian College for many years as well as working as an engineer in the Arctic for 7 years and a consultant in Saudi Arabia for 4 1/2 years. He retired in 2000. Gino embraced life and lived it to the fullest. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was well known for his practical jokes. An intelligent man, he enjoyed tinkering and collecting; his house boat on Lake Nipissing; being a HAM radio operator; the self proclaimed sanctuary of his home; traveling with his wife; and the company of his cat Sam. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Rd., Sudbury, Tuesday, July 25th, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Valley East Cemetery.
