May 1, 1909 January 29, 2002 A School Teacher Passed away peacefully in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning, Enid Oglestone (nee Fingland) of Arnprior in her 93rd year. Wife of the late Osten Oglestone and by first marriage to Albert Smith. Loving mother of Yvonne (Ray) Cunningham of White Lake, Roy (Natalie) Smith of Ottawa and Lyall (Vera) Smith of Deep River. Special grandmother to Douglas, Faye, Judy, Sheila, Cindy and Craig, Nanny "O" to 12 great-grandchildren. Sister of Freda Fingland of Napanee. Predeceased by brother Hugh of Desoronto, brother George and sister Marie of Enterprise, Ontario. Caring aunt to Bob and Don Fingland of Desoronto, George Fingland of Lyndhurst and Joyce Joyce of Kingston. Enid was a graduate of the Peterborough Normal School. Enid taught in Camden Township and for many years in northern Ontario before retiring to White Lake. Enid was a long time resident of "The Villa" in Arnprior. Resting at THE BOYCE FUNERAL HOME LTD., CHAPEL, VISITATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in The Boyce Chapel, Thursday, January 31, 2002, at 1:30 p.m., with interment in White Lake Community Cemetery.
