Director of Sales, Hoffman la Roche Peacefully, swiftly, after a long twilight, Walter Leonard died on February 1, 2002 at the age of 76. Walt was the son of Kathleen and Jimmy Leonard of Montreal. He was the older brother of Joan and Kenneth. "Because she came to him and anthems sweet" he married Genevieve Palley in 1952, and they made each other happy. They had three children - most fortunate of children - Lynda, Lance and Laird. They, their spouses Lance, Jill and Lina and their children Owen, Evan, Kaitlin, Meaghan, Thea, Shannon, James-Andrew, Dominique and Phillipe are grateful to have shared Walt's love. Walt died at the Rideau Veteran's Health Centre in Ottawa where a team of dedicated women cared for him with great affection. They were a blessing. So are Walt's and Gen's many friends. Those wishing to honour Walt's memory are encouraged to make a charitable donation to the cause of their choice. Visitation will take place at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home 222 Autoroute 20 in Pointe Claire on Sunday February 3, 2002 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday February 4, 2002 at Collins Clarke Funeral Home 222 Autoroute 20 in Pointe Claire.
