Peacefully at home on February 2, 2002, gardening enthusiast, Virginia Garvin, in her seventy-fifth year. Daughter of Claire Steeds; loving wife of Orville; dear mother of Barry and daughter-in-law of Rev. Myra Garvin (Brockville); much loved "Granny" of Jon (Waterloo), Kim (Kingston) and Laurie Garvin (Brockville). Also survived by sisters, Marilyn Drummond (Ottawa) and Enid (Toronto); brother, Ronald; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful neighbours. Predeceased by father, George, and brother, Arnold Guy (Bud). At Ginny's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, the family invites friends and relatives to gather at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, on Tuesday, February 5, 2002 between 7 and 9 p.m. to celebrate Ginny's life with a time of fellowship and storytelling.
