At Bayfield Manor Nursing Home, Kemptville on Tuesday, February 5, 2002. Ida Mary Barkley, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late George R. Barkley. Loving mother of Dwight (Helen) of Hyndman, Evelyn Kelly (Robert) of Kemptville and Lillian Hurlbert of Kemptville. Dear grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sons Floyd and Orville, and daughter Orlean Cyr. Also predeceased by brothers Johnny, Charles and Malhon Merkley and sisters Annie Holmes, Jessie Hutt, Hester Merkley and Molly Lapiere. Visitation will be held at the Grant Brown Funeral Home Rolston Chapel, Kemptville on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
