Lana Mary CURTIS

Surrounded by her loving family, Lana slipped away peacefully into God's arms on Tuesday, February 5, 2002, in her 62nd year. Much loved daughter of Murray and Jean Curtis. Will be sadly missed by her sister Betty and brothers John and Charlie. Adored and cherished wife of Phil (Susie) for the past 42 years. Precious and much loved mother of Michael (Thayne) and Maureen (Rob Gummeson). Devoted and actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren Ariana and Eric Pelletier (predeceased by Emily Lauren Pelletier), Nick, Sam and Alyssa Gummeson. Lana was deeply touched by the continuous outpouring of love to her and her family during her illness. She will be sadly missed by many friends. Visitation will be held at the Grant Brown Funeral Home Rolston Chapel, Kemptville on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church for Mass of Christian Burial. Spring interment Oxford Mills Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Lana's wish was for donations to the Emily Lauren Trust for World Hunger or the K.D.H. Foundation. The Ottawa Citizen, 06-02-2002
