Peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2002 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Daley. Predeceased by her parents Frank Mulvihill and Mary Burke. Also predeceased by sisters Annie, Madeline and Babe, and brothers-in-law Harold and Ed Furrie and Richard Welch. She is survived by her dear sister Mary Furrie. Helen will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews and many cousins and by many friends. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, was an active member of her community, Catholic Women's League, The Legion of Mary, and the Third Order of St. Francis. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 15 Lebreton Street. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Aylmer, Quebec. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Vincent's Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
