Peacefully in hospital, Carleton Place, Ontario on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 in her 86th year. Esther Lillian Gorr, beloved wife of the late Cecil Devlin. Much loved mother of Gerrie (Geraldine) and her husband Ross Dryden, Erin, Ontario and Earl and his wife Kathy of Perth, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Kim (Jeff Buykes), Terry Dryden, Kerry Dryden, Abbie and Alison Devlin. Great-grandmother of Zachery and Jillian Buykes. Dear sister of Laura Shail. Survived by a sister-in-law Mabel Devlin. Predeceased by her grandson Jamie Dryden and by a brother William Gorr and by a sister Bertha Goodman. Friends may visit at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Blair Corcoran officiating. Spring interment United Cemeteries, Carleton Place. In memory of Esther, memorial donations to the Carleton Place Hospital would be appreciated.
