(Sister Mary Doris) Sister Eleanor Honsberger, a Grey Sister of the Immaculate Conception, died in hospital in Pembroke, Ontario, on the 12th of February in the 57th year of her religious life. Sister is mourned by the members of her religious congregation as well as several nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Fern (Sussex) and by her sisters, Clara, Marcelan (Cartier), Lois and Doris. Sister Eleanor nursed in Penetanguishene, ON and Pembroke, ON, in Lestock, SK and in the Dominican Republic. On retirement she assisted in the Motherhouse Archives. She spent the final years of her life in Shalom Residence, the sisters' infirmary. Resting at the Grey Sisters' Motherhouse, 700 Mackay Street, Pembroke from 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th. Liturgy of the Resurrection in the Chapel at 1:30 a.m. Friday, February 15th. Friends and Associates are invited to Vespers in the Motherhouse Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th. Members of the Catholic Women's League, Cathedral Parish, will meet for prayer at the Motherhouse on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Interment at St. Columba's Cemetery. The Ottawa Citizen, 13-02-2002
