WW II Veteran (RCAF 1940-1945) In hospital, Tuesday, February 12, 2002. Beloved husband and best friend of Gloria (DeAngelis) for 54 years. Devoted father of Joan Kavanagh-Wilson (Tom), Brian (Sue) and Patricia Hollinger (Jonathan). Special grandfather to Jennifer and Amanda Kavanagh, Cameron, Courtney and Erin Wilson, Megan and Lauren Hollinger. Dear brother of Priscilla, Marcella, Fr. Francis Kavanagh OMI and Theresa Farmer (Ivan). Will be sadly missed by sister-in-law Susan DeAngelis and many extended family members. Predeceased by parents Mae and Percy Kavanagh, brother Clem, and sisters Muriel, Mary, Agnita and Rita. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown) Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to St. Joseph's Church, 151 Laurier Ave. East, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery in the spring.
