After a courageous battle with cancer, Joseph passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 17, 2002 at Kingston General Hospital. Born October 10, 1925 in Toronto, son of the late Bernard R. and Katherine M. Quinto. Beloved brother of Marie Densmore, Elvera Lamie, Frances Howlett and Bernice Holmes. Adored by many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his many friends and business associates in Toronto, Ottawa, and Westport. Visitation on Wednesday, February 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday, February 21 at 1:30 p.m. from St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church (10295 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, 3 lights north of Major MacKenzie Dr.).
