Peacefully in Ayer's Cliff, Quebec, on Tuesday February 19, 2002, in her eighty-fifth year, Peggy Lamb Montgomery. Dear wife of the late Robert Montgomery and the late Thomas H. Montgomery QC; loving mother of Ann, Martha and Tom; sister of Mr. Justice Ruston Lamb and Mrs. Barbara Ingraham. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Emily, Kate, Irene and Alex, and by her many nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead on Monday February 25 at 2:30 p.m. with interment in Marlington Road Cemetery, Ogden, at a later date. Donations in Peggy's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, or to the Scholarship and Bursary Fund of Stanstead College, Stanstead, Quebec. The Montreal Gazette, 21-02-2002
