Leona BARKLEY

We regret to announce the death of Leona Ryder on February 20, 2002 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing, Ontario at the age of 89. She is survived by two daughters, Arlyn (Ron) Cooks of Atlanta and Andrea (Gordon) Hahn of Kapuskasing, one son, Dallas (Jeannette) of Toronto, one sister Ruth Chapelle of Ottawa, two sisters-in-law, Liette Barkley and Audrey Barkley both of Ottawa as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her spouse Dudley. The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 23 at St. Mark's Anglican Church with Reverend Frank Mason officiating. Spring interment to follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
