Peacefully at the Charles LeMoyne Hospital on Thursday, February 21, 2002. Beloved husband of Catherine Smith. Dear father of Medina and Shola. Survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren (Gambia). Also survived by brothers Mohaminu, Ady, Alhadji and Emma (Johnson) and nieces and nephews (Alhadji Jr.). Son of the late Abubakr and Kiptiatu. Special son-in-law to Olive Smith. Also survived by Aunt Ruby Thompson and sister-in-law Beverley Sanders and many other family members and friends in Canada and overseas. Private interment took place Saturday, February 23 at Islamic Cemetery of Quebec. Special thanks to the staff of the Charles LeMoyne Hospital and the Islamic Community Center.
