It is with great sadness that the Lucas family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on February 23, 2002. Myrtle was born April 8, 1906, was predeceased by her husband Murray and son Ernie. She will be greatly missed by her son Everton, his wife Mary and their children and grandchildren, Kenneth and his wife Ann, their children and grandchildren, Robert, his wife Ruth, children and grandchildren. This great lady was an inspiration to all in her family, as she was to many members of her church and to fellow members in the teaching profession, all of which she was so dedicated to. She will be sadly missed by all and fondly remembered for her compassion and strong convictions. Visitation will be held at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 1812 Eglington Avenue West (Dufferin), on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with service to follow in the Chapel and interment at Prospect Cemetery.
