Peacefully at the LaSalle General Hospital on February 23, 2002 in his ninety-sixth year. Loving husband of the late Bertha Strban. Cherished father of Rose-Mary and Andy (Lynn). Dear grandfather of Chris (Colleen), Marlene and Scott. Great-grandfather of Breena. Uncle to Stephen and Julius (Eva) and many nieces and nephews in Slovakia. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) www.kanefetterly.qc.ca, on Tuesday, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass on Wednesday, February 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Cyrill and Methodist Church (Jean-Talon and 2nd Ave.). Donations to LaSalle General Hospital or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Hospital staff for the wonderful care given.
