At the Wales Home, Richmond, Quebec on February 25, 2002 in his ninety-second year. Dear father of John (Mary McOucheon), Cathy (William Bengeyfield), Susan (Michael Keys), Debbie (Kevin Clarke), and Peter (Barb Santonelli). Special grandfather to Brian, Lori, Stephanie, Amanda, Samantha and Justin. Wally was predeceased by Claire his wife of fifty years. He was also predeceased by his special friend Mildred Knapp. Wally was a great storyteller, took a special interest in everyone and had a most impressive memory for details. His career at the Bank of Commerce spanned forty-four years. A special thanks to Ed and Win Anderson and the staff at the St. Francis Manor, the CHUS Hotel Dieu Hospital and the Wales Home. A funeral service will be held at the Cass Funeral Home Inc., 6 Belvedere Street, Lennoxville, Quebec on Monday, March 4, 2002 at 1 p.m. Donations in his memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2630 King Street West, Sherbrooke, Quebec office #150, would be appreciated by the family.
