Died at Toronto, Ontario on March 1, 2002 at the age of 85 years. Survived by brother Hugh T. McGovern (Margaret) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Ellen McGovern, sisters Kathleen Marsden, Helen McGovern, Marion Dufour and Evelyn McGovern, brothers Farrell and Taylor McGovern. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Basilica, Ottawa, on Wednesday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment of ashes at Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa.
