Suddenly on Friday March 1, 2002, Rita Willems (nee Laprade) of St. Eugene, Ontario in her 55th year. Beloved daughter of Rita Laprade of Cornwall and the late Francis Laprade. Loving wife of Theo Willems. Dearly loved mother of Jeff (Sian) and Lee (Carolyn) all of St. Eugene. Fond grandmother of Jacob and Matthew. Dear sister of Emily (Donald Bourgon) and John Laprade (Mary) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by her brother Terry Laprade. She will be sadly missed by her father-in-law Cornelius Willems and his wife Gabrielle of St. Eugene. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Friends may pay their respects at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street (corner of Stanley Street), Vankleek Hill on Sunday March 3rd from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and Monday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service Monday March 4th to St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, Main Street, St. Eugene for Mass of Christian Funeral at 2 p.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 36 Second Street, Cornwall, ON would be appreciated by the family.
