Peacefully in hospital on Sunday, March 3, 2002, age 53 years. Beloved husband and lifelong partner of Ilda Maria. Loving father of Robert, Ruben and Tania. Proud grandfather of Kelly Ann. Dear son of Filomena and the late Jose Da Silva of Portugal. Dear brother of Jose (Dilia) of Portugal. Nephew of Luiz Da Silva (Lidia), Luisa Martins (Jose) and Alcina Viera (the late Francisco). Son- in-law of Herminia Silveira (the late Jose). Brother-in-law of Maria Fatima Silveira (Manuel) and Fernanda Silveira (Joe). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Dino, Ana-Rita, Luciano, Jose Manuel, Odilia, Lino, Sara, Jonathan and Philip. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Rd at Aviation Parkway on Wednesday, March 6, 2002 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Senhor Santo Cristo Roman Catholic Church, 1100 Kenaston St. on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
