1923-2002. Passed away at his home in Malino, Sulawesi, Indonesia on March 5. Husband of the late Frances (nee Hobart) and of the late Adriana (nee Rieuwpassa). Father of son Adrian (Beth) of Thunder Bay, ON, and daughters Alison (Michel) of Montreal, QC, and Angela (Ian) of St. Francois Xavier, MB. Brother to Beryl, of Cardiff, Wales, and to his late brother and sister, Arthur and Dorothy. Grandfather to Colin, Aaron, Cameron, Holly, Claire, Joanna and Alexandre, in Canada, and honorary uncle, brother-in-law and grandfather to many of his late wife's family in Indonesia. His children are grateful for the devoted care provided by Douglas' Indonesian staff, Ani and Rabi. We will miss knowing he's thinking about us from his side of the world.
