It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Hazel (Schoular) Sergeant in hospital, Perth, on Wednesday, March 6, 2002. Beloved wife for 72 years of the late Melville Sergeant. Dearest mother and friend of Bernadette (Martin) Bean of Ruskin, Florida, Shirley (George) Rowsome of Brockville and Thelma (Robert) Waldeck of Perth. Predeceased by son Arthur and infant son Murray. Hazel will be missed by daughter-in-law Mildred Sergeant of Ohio and sister-in-law Joyce (Harold) Edwards of Ashford, Kent, England. Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, on Saturday, March 9, 2002, from 1 p.m. until Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
