P. Eng. Peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on March 8, 2002 in his seventy-ninth year. Loving husband of fifty-four years of Terry, father of Jim (Brenda) of Burlington, ON, and Bill (Ann) of Owen Sound, ON. Grandfather of Ian and Amy Moriarty of Burlington, ON. Survived by his sister Helen McGrath (Harold) of Moncton, NB. Brother-in-law of Claude (Helen) Johnson of Bathurst, NB, and Gerard Johnson, Dr. Ernest Johnson (Margaret), Dr. Alphonse Johnson (Shirley) and Carmel (Byron) Dobson, all of Halifax, NS. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was a long time member of the Kanawaki Golf Club and the Pointe Claire Curling Club. Special thanks to the staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital and especially the Auxiliary, Dr. H. Laryea and the Oncology Unit team. Visitation at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Road, Dollard des Ormeaux, on Monday, March 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel, Rideau Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12.
