Eleanor Carmela MACRI

It is with sorrow that the family announce the loss of our dear mother in Ottawa on Sunday, March 10, 2002 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late William MacLachlan. Dear mother of the late Nancy Pap, James (Ursula) and Patricia (Jacques Chesnais). Also loved by her grandchildren Sherri, Tracy, Douglas, Gina, Patrick and Claire and her great-grandchildren Emily, Jessica, Danielle, Brittany and Caitlin. Dear sister of Frank Macri. Predeceased by her three sisters, Mary, Phyllis and Angelina, and three brothers, Sam, Sandy and James. Eleanor was born and lived most of her life in Winnipeg, later moving to Edmonton and then to Ottawa. A truly strong, generous and kind-hearted mother, wife and friend, Eleanor will be remembered for her warm and caring spirit. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 14th from 10 a.m. until Funeral Prayers in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
