Died peacefully on March 11, 2002 at Humber River Regional Hospital, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Walter McDermid (Mac) Wiber, lovingly remembered by her seven children, Helen, Lynne, Joan, John, Ruth, Maxine and Sarah; her fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and other who gave her support through her last days. Throughout her life, Joan shared her boundless energy and talents benefiting those in her family, her church, friends and community. Our mother expressed her spirituality and love for life in very practical ways, often through the food she prepared for others. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who were helped and enriched by her generous nature. A private family service has taken place.
