Passed away peacefully on March 12 at the Montreal Chest Hospital, after a courageous and dignified two year struggle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Wayne McConnell is survived by his beloved partner of twenty-four years, Viateur Fournier, and by his family, sister Margot and brother-in-law Paul, brother Keith and sister-in-law Kathy, brother David, nephew Jonathan and mother Catherine, and nieces Holly and Sophie. A memorial service will be held on Monday April 1, 2002 at 12 noon at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex in Montreal, 1297, Chemin de la Foret, Outremont.
