Died peacefully at the Montreal General Hospital on March 13, 2002, aged eighty-seven years. Beloved wife of the late Paul Marcel Smith, loving mother of Robert, mother-in-law to Ann Claffey and grandmother to Julia. Survived by her sisters, Margaret and Vivian Murphy and brother Roy Murphy. Fondly remembered by many friends and relatives. At her request, no visitation and a private cremation. A memorial service will be held March 16, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Church, corner of Sherbrooke St. West and Clark Avenue in Westmount. The Montreal Gazette, 14-03-2002
