It is with sorrow that the family announces the peaceful but sudden loss of our dear mother Claire in her 94th year on March 15, 2002. Widow of Bob Stanley-Smith. Loving mother of Heather Stanley-Smith (Tom Mosseau), step-mother of Joy Gordon (George), and Barbara Hobbs (Charles). Dear grandmother of Robert Young, Susan Gordon and Dawna and Cathy Hobbs. Dear sister of Joan Elliott (Bill). Predeceased by her brother Thomas MacFarlane and sister Grace Hodgins. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 134 Centre St. Shawville, Quebec on Thursday March 21, 2002 at 1 p.m. Interment of ashes at Norway Bay United Cemetery.
