1918 - 2002 Peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre in Ottawa. Wife of the late Mervyn G. Christie (1998). Predeceased by a son H. Stanley Christie (1968) and parents Joseph Colbeck and Gertrude Halliday of Montreal. Dearly loved by her daughter Patricia and son-in-law Emil Budzinski of Cumberland, four grandchildren, Stephen Budzinski (Karina), David Budzinski, Leah (Stephen Corrigan) of Ottawa and Neil (Linzy) Budzinski of New York. Proud "nana" of Christie and Tyler Corrigan. Survived by sister Muriel Moodie of Montreal and twin brother Howard Colbeck of Ottawa. Predeceased by one sister Winnifred Jacobs. A private Service in Memory in Ottawa and the interment of cremated remains at the Mount Royal Cemetery will take place at a later date. Special thanks to all the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Centre for their compassionate care.
