WWII Veteran Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 480 Peacefully, in hospital on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at the age of 84. Son of the late Henry and Blanche (nee Lafrance). Beloved father of Francoise (Robert Dupuis) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his son Jean-Guy (Rosanne) of Deep River. Loving grandfather of Christopher Dupuis (Cassandra) and Jean-Guy Dupuis both of Sudbury, Curtis Evraire of North Bay and Melissa Evraire of Deep River. Cherished great-grandfather of Kassandra, Samantha, Keegan and Connor. Dear brother of John (Edith) of Ottawa, the late Emile (the late Jackie) of Ottawa, the late Julie Bates (Albert) of Ottawa, Roland of Ottawa and Jeannette Wallum (the late Wally) of Cold Lake, Alberta. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick's Basilica. Private Cremation.
