Passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, March 23, 2002 at the age of sixty-nine. He is survived by his brother Ken (Lorna) and also by several nieces and nephews. Douglas was predeceased by his sister Phyllis Cairns. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O. on Monday, March 25, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday March, 26 2002 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
