After a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54 years, Jim passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital early Tuesday, March 26, 2002 with his dear companion Dale Dostater at his side. Beloved son of Shirley (Stevenson) and Bruce Livingston of Sooke, B.C. Dear brother of Barbara (Raymond Victor), N.S., Patricia Johnson, Alberta and Marilyn Mattson, B.C. He will be sadly missed, especially by Arline, Ken and Theresa, Cathy and Aaron and Mazen as well as Jim's family in Ontario and across Canada and by his friends and neighbours who were so generous with their support and prayers during his illness. Jim was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario, and attended St. Mary's University, Halifax, N.S. His career was in information technology with IBM and the Public Service. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Thursday after 12 noon.
