Suddenly on Thursday, March 28, 2002 in hospital surrounded by his family at the age of 80. Loving husband and best friend of Claire (Coll). Dearly loved father of Jody (Dan), Wendy (David), Mark (Elise) and Jane (Andrew). Beloved "Papa" of Dana, Caitlynn, Caleigh, Liam, Brian, Maeve, Graham, and baby to be in June. Dear brother of Doreen Walsh, Betty Kelly, Don (Doris) McElligott and Marjorie McElligott. Predeceased by brother Bruce and sister Jackie. Brian will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and many friends. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Saint Patrick's Basilica, 220 Kent Street.
