(Retired Major, WWII Veteran, First Field Company Royal Canadian Engineers, Korean War Veteran, Queen Victorian Sword Recipient, worked with CIDA) In hospital, Renfrew on Saturday, March 30, 2002 at the age of 90 years. Bill Brown, of 1022 Pembroke Street East, Pembroke and formerly of Ottawa, dearly loved husband of Isobel Brown (nee McQuestion). Dear father of Robert Brown (wife Beverley), Niagara Falls; Karen Stewart (husband Monty), Pembroke; and Leslie Brown (wife Patricia), Ottawa. Grandfather to Kimberly and Christopher; John and Tracy; Heather and Cheryl. Great-grandfather to Meghan. Son of the late Frank and Mary Brown (nee Doyle). Brother of Mary Brown, Toronto and Bernard Brown, Calgary. Predeceased by brother John (Jack) Brown and sister Kay Brown. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Wednesday, April 3rd at 11 a.m. Interment in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa.
