Aged 80 years of Chatham, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, March 30, 2002. Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years Bernice (McKeon); one daughter Brenda Desharnais (Pierre) of Ottawa, On; two sons; Gary Godfree (Brenda) of Chatham and Kevin Godfree (Vanda) of Brantford. Four grandchildren Christine and Angela Desharnais of Ottawa; Eric and Nathan Godfree of Brantford; one sister Betty Bishop and husband Bill of Chatham; one brother Jack Godfree and wife Marjorie of Nipissing, On. He is predeceased by his brother William A. Godfree Jr. (1998) and his wife Margaret Catherine (Munn) (1986). Kenneth was a co-owner of Godfree's Men's Wear, and a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed golfing and fishing in his retirement years. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home, 156 William Street S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2002. Chapel Service will be conducted in the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Gregory Bonin officiating.
