On Wednesday, April 3, 2002, in the presence of loved ones, Anne (Beverly) of Vernon, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Carkner. Dear sister-in-law of Ken (late Kathleen) Clark. Dear aunt of Clifford (Marly) Clark, Bruce (Linda) Clark, Robert (Ann) Clark, Ken (late Margaret) Carkner and Isobel Carkner. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many great-nieces and nephews and their children. The family would like to thank her wonderful neighbours and friends whose support and generosity meant a great deal to Aunt Anne. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2002. Funeral Saturday in the Chapel for service at 2 p.m. Spring interment Ormond Cemetery. Donations to the Osgoode Baptist and Vernon United Church Roof Fund would be most appreciated.
