Peacefully on April 4, 2002, in his 89th year, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto. Beloved husband of June Barr (Rice). Loving father of John & Marlene Barr and David & Nancy Barr. Loving grandfather of four and great-grandfather of six. George is survived by his sister, Mildred Fishenden and predeceased by sisters, Annie Purcell, Ada McClure, Mary Authers and brothers, William, Gordon and Herbert. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Road), on Sunday, April 7, 2002, at 2 p.m. Memorial Services will be held in Pakenham at a later date. or the Christian Horizons Organization, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
