Peacefully in Ottawa at the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Margaret Nagy (nee Dugas). Dear father of Richard (Denise) and Patricia (Mark). Cherished grandpa of Keith, Carl, Brendan and Dylan. John will also be missed by his sisters Mary Stofanak and Helen Perreault and fondly remembered by their families and all of his friends and relatives in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. Our family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Rideau 2 South for their excellent care and kindness given to John during his stay especially during his last days. We are truly grateful. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, April 8, 2002 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, 1750 Russell Road.
