Joseph Alexander HERINGER

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Alexander Heringer announces his unexpected, sudden death, this past Friday, April 5, 2002, at his residence. Joe will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Tomas Heringer; his twin brother Philip (Martina), children Jamie and Michael; his older brothers, Matthew (Lena) children Jeffrey, Sean, Christopher, David and Brian; and Andrew (Gail) children Thomas and Olivia; sisters, Caroline (Michael Skube) children Matthew, Adam, Jill and Jake; and Claudia (Ernest Gellert) children Candace and Jacob. Joe was a resident of Thunder Bay, since his birth on December 10, 1961. He attended St. Bernard's School, St. Ignatius and graduated from Hillcrest High School, after a very determined academic effort. Joe was currently employed at George's Market and at The Bay Credit Union, enjoying the 'family' atmosphere at both jobs. Joe's favourite pastimes included being an awesome Uncle, playing volleyball, playing and watching tennis, enjoying leftovers, washing cars, spending time at Mom's with his pal 'Patsy' and just hanging out with family. Joe is predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Mae FitzGerald, Dr. W.J. and Isabel Heringer and his niece Jennifer Heringer. He will be remembered for his courageous spirit, his determination and his incredible commitment to his family. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 9, when family and friends will gather at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church for The Funeral Mass beginning at 2:00 p.m. celebrated by Rev. P.M. Still V.F. Services complete in the church. Arrangements entrusted to Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court Street, Thunder Bay.
