Peacefully, on Saturday, April 6, 2002 at The Hospice at May Court. Devoted husband of the late Rose Roodman. Lovingly remembered by his children Marilyn Bild (Paul) of Vancouver, B.C. and Gary (Jody) of Hollywood, FL. Uncle Hy will be sadly missed by his niece and nephews, Ruth Beckman, Jeff Beckman (Katherine), Bruce Beckman and great-nephew Nathan Beckman. A Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue (time and date to be confirmed). Interment following at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa. Shiva to be observed at 2103-1510 Riverside Drive. The family wishes to extend its most profound thanks to the staff of Rideau Place and The Hospice at May Court.
