At the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 8, 2002, Aldema Merrikin (nee Phillips) of Morrisburg, in her 84th year. Loving wife of the late Ernie Merrikin. Loving mother of Betty (Garth) Hazlett of Toronto, Sandra Merrikin (Gordon "David" Wolford) of Nepean, and Margie (John) De Jong of Nepean. Loving nanny of Nicholas and Danica De Jong. Dear sister of Ruth Bates of Brockville and Joyce (Les) Cozens of Toledo. Predeceased by brothers Carl, Denzil, and Kenny Phillips. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Morrisburg, on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. A Memorial service will be held at the Church on Thursday, April 11th at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Morrisburg.
