Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, April 9, 2002, in Aylmer, Quebec, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife and best friend Susan (nee O'Malley) and his cherished daughter Julie-Ann (Kim Broughton). Special "Pompa" to grandson Nicolas Broughton. Dear brother of Robert (Yolande), Ottawa, Ontario. Predeceased by his parents Lucien Allard and Cecile Lapierre. Dear son-in-law of Lillian O'Malley and the late Edmund O'Malley. Special brother-in-law to Denis and Sharon Lariviere, Wayne and Colette O'Malley, and John O'Malley. Loving uncle to Raymond Lariviere (Nicole Boucher), Rob Lariviere (Christine Burke), Lianne Lariviere and Tim and Derek O'Malley. Great-uncle to Jean-Philippe Lariviere. He also leaves to mourn many friends who will miss his love of life and sense of humour. Resting at Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home in Campbell's Bay, Quebec on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Friday after 9:30 a.m. Funeral Friday, April 12, to St. Charles Borromeo Church, Otter Lake, Quebec for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in parish cemetery.
