Wendell John Boyd MCRAE

Passed away peacefully in hospital at Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday, April 9, 2002. Wendell McRae of Stittsville at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband for 55 years of Claire Shanks. Loving father of Ronald (Helen), Wendy Ford (Brian), Kenneth, Richard (Bernadette) and Blair (Debby). Loving "Grandpop" of Matthew and Angela Ford. Survived by his brothers James (Claudette) and William (Mariette) and sisters Audrey (Bill Hunter) and Norma (Stan Kerfoot). Predeceased by his parents Norman and Muriel (Simpson), son Donald Gordon, and sisters Myrtle and Elizabeth Reid (Glenn). Wendell was a charter member of the Stittsville District Lions Club and was a 27 year employee of Thomas C. Assaly Corporation as a construction manager. Friends may call at the ALAN R.
