After a brief illness with cancer, Saturday, April 13, 2002. Doreen Mary McCarthy age 77. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Gamble. Loving mother of Doug, Lynda (Tom Healey) and Peggy (John Lockwood). Cherished grandmother of Bryce and Erin Healey and Travis and Steven Lockwood. Cousin of Sheila Vallillee, Terry McCarthy, Harold Grierson, Ruth Rennie and Sidney Grierson. Sister-in-law of John Gamble (Cecile) and Mary (late Robert "Bob" Calvert). Fondly remembered by nephews Terry and David Gamble and many other friends. Special thanks to La Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie and the Shawville Community Hospital. Cremation. A Service in Memory of Doreen will be held at a later date.
