Lorna Grace JACKSON

(Nee Jackson) Peacefully at home, on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 after a 13 year battle with cancer at the age of 70. Lorna Barr, beloved wife of Ken Barr. Loving mother of Harry Barr, Vancouver, B.C.; Nancy (Laird Stewart), Nepean, Ontario; Tom (Donna) Barr, Douglas, Ontario. Dear grandmother of 7 grandchildren, Amanda and Alyssa Stewart, Taylor and Connor Barr, Jenna, Jill and Kathleen Barr; her sister Shirley (Don Wilcox), Cobden, and her brother George (Dorothy) Jackson, Renfrew. Foster mother to Lillian (Dan Ingham), North Gower. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lorna was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Gordon Jackson, and her brother Colin Jackson. At her request there will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service, in celebration of her life, is planned for Saturday, April 20, 2002 at 11 a.m. in Trinity St. Andrews United Church, Renfrew. The family would like to thank the many compassionate caregivers, relatives, friends and neighbours who helped Lorna in her time of need.
