Gently passed away at the age of 86 years on April 21, 2002 at St. Michael's Care Center in Burnaby, B.C. Originally from Cotton Beaver on the Dunvegan Road, she is predeceased by parents, Mary MacLeod and John Gray and brother, Angus Gray. Through the years, she lived in Montreal, Toronto, Seattle and for about the last 40 years in Vancouver area. She is remembered for her independence, fierce determination and for her love of the creatures of the world. There was no wake or funeral in accordance with Ms. Gray's wishes, but if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Wildlife Rescue Assoc., 5216 Glencairn Drive, Burnaby, B.C., The Ottawa Citizen, 11-05-2002
