On Monday, April 22, 2002, Andrew David McVey left our world. He died peacefully at home of complications arising from his Cerebral Palsy. He was surrounded by his family and friends who loved and cared for him throughout the challenges of his life. Andrew was the son of Isobel Kay (Larry Fitzpatrick) of Maitland and Geoffrey McVey of Brockville. He will be missed by his twin brother Bradley, grandmother Cathy Kay, uncles John Kay and Barrie Kay (Leslie Truesdell) of Lansdowne, grandparents Gordon and Mary McVey of Kemptville, Uncle Terry, Aunt Lauren, Chris, Sarah and Rachel McVey of Deep River. Andrew was predeceased by his uncle David Kay in infancy and his grandfather David Kay. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Gananoque on Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. Interment of Ashes will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Kingston General Hospital Pediatic Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.
