(Of Scarborough, Ontario) (June 25, 1904 - April 24, 2002) Peacefully in hospital, Scarborough, Ontario on Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at age 97. Sarah Dorothy Rose beloved wife of the late William James Burns and loving twin sister of Evelyn Rose, Scarborough. Dear mother of Pauline (Rev. Leslie Grant), Scarborough; Joyce (Bill) Lowry, Almonte; Frank (Mildred) Burns, Perth and Ruth (Dr. Robert More), Waddington, N.Y., U.S.A. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 sister and 2 brothers. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral to the Almonte Reformed Presbyterian Church, 273 Almonte Street, Almonte on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Matthew Dyck officiating.
