Peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, 25, 2002, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Lenore (Nonie). Dear father of Bill (Kim). Loving grandfather of Emma and Lara. Cherished eldest brother of Katie, Joe, Helen, George and predeceased by sisters Anne, Mary and brother Frank. Member of the 18th Field Company Engineers and among the first wave to land on Juno Beach on D-Day. Friends may call at the Rideau Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Drive, Kars (east of Highway 416) on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Services in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
